The town of Chantilly in the northern region of Virginia spans two counties— western Fairfax County and southeastern Loudon County. Chantilly, located just 24 miles from vibrant Washington, DC, is considered part of the Washington metropolitan area. Our new homes in Chantilly are within close drive of the famed Washington Dulles International Airport itself. An annex of the National Air and Space Museum is located in town, and our new constructions in Chantilly are also near the Sully Historic Site, the former plantation home of Virginia's first congressional representative. The area also has a deep Civil War legacy, and our local Chantilly real estate is near some of Virginia's most fascinating historic sites.

New Homes Near Chantilly's Key Locations

Chantilly has been a storied locale since the 1800s, when Stonewall Jackson, under orders from Robert E. Lee, staged the Battle of Chantilly. The town was home to numerous colonial plantations in the 1700s including Sully, Chantilly Plantation and the John Hutchison Farm. Growth in the area began in earnest with the completion of the Little River Turnpike, now Route 236. In more recent years the town was the site of the Bilderberg summit, a private conference of over a hundred influential invited guests in the realm of politics, communications and defense who gather to promote understanding between the United States and Western Europe. Our new home developments in Chantilly are also near the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center annex of the National Air and Space Museum and the National Reconnaissance Office. The American Registry for Internet Numbers is located in an unincorporated area near Chantilly, which testifies to the area's technology and security reputation as well.
