Along with the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, other employers include logistics companies, thanks to the City's ideal port location on the St. Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the U.S. military. With three naval facilities and the nearby Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Jacksonville is the third largest naval complex in the country. The Duval County School Board (DCSB) controls public schools in Jacksonville. As of the 2009-10 school year, DCPS had 160 regular-attendance schools: 105 elementary schools, 28 middle schools, and 20 high schools. Also, some charter schools operate under contract with the Duval County School Board. Several higher education institutions are located in Jacksonville, including the University of North Florida (UNF) and Florida State, to name a few.
