The area is known for its long history, beginning with the Catawba Indians, and boasts numerous National Historic Landmark sites, many dating back to the time of the Revolutionary War. Our local Lancaster County home developments are near the upscale Ballantyne district of Charlotte, a complex that offers upscale shopping, a large corporate park and a popular resort and spa. Lancaster County provides a world of recreational activities, especially for those who love the great outdoors.

The Anne Springs Close Greenway offers a wide range of recreational activities and educational programs. Boating ramps at Lake Crandall and Stumpy Pond can be used for kayaks and canoes, or boaters can rent kayaks at Lake Haigler. Equestrians of all levels of experience can join staff-led activities or take self-guided rides on the Greenway’s horse trails.
