My wife Micah and I discovered Ryan Homes at Cedar Hill Townhomes during a search on Zillow and scheduled a meeting with Bobby Griebe. We went in with so many questions regarding the difference in buying a new construction in contrast with buying a resale and Bobby, Danny and Max all answered every question in a straightforward, professional and cordial. We felt right at home during our tour of the Ballad 1-Car Garage model to get a rough feel of the energy of the home--although we were interested in the Mendelssohn 2-Car Garage home type. Between the layout and space being what we were looking for as well as the thorough explanations we received in terms of building and costs, we were putting down our good faith deposit on our very first home! I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone who is looking for a new home anywhere near Baltimore to PLEASE see Bobby, Danny, Max and the entire team at Cedar Hill Townhomes and join in with this ever-growing community!

Little did we know then but a quick trip to Costco turned into a detour which eventually lead to us purchasing our first home!! 🏡 ✨ Maxwell- from our first interaction gave us so much confidence which in turn gave us the encouragement to move forward with the process. Maxwell was friendly, down to earth, very knowledgeable and highly responsive throughout the process from day one up until the day we closed on our home! His calm yet charismatic personality really eased a lot of my nerves - and he did so with soo much patience!!! I am so glad we had the opportunity to work with him , it really made all the difference! Tyler- I love that he was very informative and gave us the insight to work on a few things to allow us to make home buying an option for us. Jameson- Very friendly and knowledgeable. Communicated regularly with us throughout the process and gave us all the ins and outs of our home. Any issues/concerns brought up by myself or realtor were promptly resolved. We love our home! UNFORTUNATELY the underwriting process with NVR settlement was not pleasant and initially took away from what was such a positive experience as a first time home buyer. By the grace of God things worked out in the end - but there are a lot of areas for improvement especially with regard to communication, transparency, and overall client experience. The community gives a very tucked away resort feel that offers a lot of amenities! I really enjoy the walking trails and I am excited that they will be building a playground for small children!!! Overall it was a rollercoaster of an experience- but thanks to our realtor Demetrius our sales associate Max we are happy to say it was all well worth the ride !!! ❤️

If you're ready to purchase a home in the Anne Arundel County/central Maryland, then I recommend strongly considering moving to Ryan Homes at Cedar Hill. My daughter and I had a wonderful experience purchasing and building our home with the team at Ryan Homes at Cedar Hill. This was not my first home and I have experience in commerical real estate, so I had prior experiences to compare them to. The sales team, Maxwell Miller, provided an amazingly smooth process. Their guidance was clear and actionable from beginning to move-in. They showed care and thoughtfulness when helping me pick the lot, patience as I reviewed and compared all options, and interest in my journey towards purchasing my new home. The sales team also stayed in touch throughout the process including after we moved in. Our project manager, Jameson Ewing, was tremendously helpful and supportive, even when I requested customizations that were not standard options for the model that I purchased. My move-in date was implicated by other factors and the project manager worked with me and his schedule to make sure my home was delivered on time and beautifully built. His weekly photo updates kept my excitement level high and made the timeline feel much shorter than it probably was. He was truly my partner in building a beautiful home! The home warranty team, Nate Smallwood. has shown genuine care for my home. They have been responsive to all warranty requests and completed most repairs on the next day I was available. The warranty request process is online and intuitive. Cedar Hill is conveniently located, the community is friendly and invested in having the best neighborhood possible, and the amenities are totally worth the HOA fee. There's a community fitness center and a pool so I no longer need a gym membership! Of course, there are issues in every community, like parking and pet care, but those issues are normal when hundreds of people live in the same community and share resources. Despite these issues, I am very happy with my home.

I had an impeccable experience with Jameson Ewing and Maxwell Miller. They both went above and beyond throughout my buying and building process. Maxwell was my Sales Representative. He was incredibly straight forward and honest throughout the entire buying process. I truly felt like he wanted me to be in the right home for my needs and budget. I was truly confident taking his advice and recommendations in building and customizing the home. Having seen the final product, all of his advice was perfect. Jameson was my build project manager. He did an amazing job describing every technical detail of the build process, utilities, and warranties. He kept me updated with pictures and videos along the entire building process. He showed me a build calendar so I knew the schedule for everything and managed to complete the home within 3 days of the projected date despite storms and winter weather! (For reference, most builders need a month grace period between the projected date and actual closing date.) He gave me great advice on how to maintain my home once the build was finished as well. After I moved in, Jameson assisted me in setting up and using my warranties. Ryan Homes delivered as promised. My home looks and works great. Thanks to their closing cost assistance, I ended up with a higher quality, higher value home than I could have afforded otherwise, not to mention it's brand new! The community looks beautiful. There are two dog parks, (one for small dogs, one for bigger dogs), a pool, a small gym, and a children's play area. I highly recommend Ryan Home, and more specifically, I highly recommend working with Maxwell and Jameson! EDIT: I was running with my dog in the neighborhood and all of a sudden my dog started limping. She injured her paws during the run. We had just run over 2 miles and I was exhausted. I struggled to carry my dog back home, but passed by the Ryan Homes model house. I knocked on the door and Jerry, one of the sales associates there, let me put my dog in his truck and drove me home. When I offered to get him a bottle of whiskey as a way of saying thank you, he humbly declined. My dog and I am incredibly grateful to Jerry for helping my injured dog.

The neighborhood is nice overall, and location is great easy access in the Baltimore area. The only reason why I cannot give it 5 stars is the horrible parking situation. The other rules are fine, but the lack of proper parking for homes with 3 cars or even guest parking is ridiculous. The HOA, only police vehicles that are illegally parked, I am assuming when someone files a complaint. Ryan homes need to get better of providing proper parking for the residence.
