Today we ended a 2 year journey. We have just signed purchase documents for a home at Anchor's Run. We have viewed many different properties and talked to numerous builders. I wanted to share my views of Ryan Homes, and then get into why we chose to build with Ryan Homes at Anchors Run. We have seen numerous properties offered by Ryan Homes and almost bought at Middle Creek Preserve. EVERY time we walked into a Ryan Homes property we met with salespeople who were warm and welcoming. They were more interested in answering questions than in selling us. Our first property was Peninsula Lakes. We very quickly discovered that their time frames and ours did not mesh. Even after that point was confirmed the sales person that we met with had plenty of time and patience to answer our questions, even though there was NOTHING in it for him. We selected Anchors Run because of its location. It was out of the way with free flowing traffic as opposed to 3 properties that we were considering near Rt. 24. So we decided on Anchors Run. Then we had to select a builder. Although the other builder submitted a bid that was less than Ryan Homes, it included a visit to their design center, which we had seen described as signing a blank check. When we got around to signing a contract with Ryan Homes there were 2 minor points that were left open, and they were minor in cost. The only reason that they were not included in the purchase agreement was that they were customizations that were not part of the standard build, but that they were very happy to accommodate. It appears that they will add no more than a couple of thousand dollars on a half a million dollar plus agreement. When we first went to Anchors Run, we liked what Ryan had to offer, but we were turned off by the larger homes that we found on the site (not built by Ryan). We didn't want to be the smallest house on the block. When we went back to Anchors Run we realized that there were less large homes and that we felt comfortable with how the community was evolving into its second phase. We met Paul Silveira for the first time yesterday, but he had already provided us with a lot of information to help us make a decision. He had nothing but time for us yesterday as we were trying to finalize our decision. Today when we went back to sign the contracts Paul answered everyone of our questions. A very few he hadn't heard before and promised us to get answers very quickly. By the time we got back to our hotel, we had a next steps e-mail with all of the information that we needed for meeting with the Project Manager who is actually supervising the build. So now it is on to the build and I am highly confident that Ryan will maintain our high opinion of them.

We have been working with Meredith Marshall and she has been amazing. She is local and so are we and she understood what we were looking for and gave us all the support we needed. Anchor’s Run is a great community. We’ll laid out and none of the houses are back-to-back so the backyard is facing ponds or trees. We are excited for this journey.

The Ryan Homes team provided a premier professional experience from the very beginning. Our sales representative Meredith was extremely knowledgeable, provided excellent recommendations, and understood our wishes. After a last minute change request, Meredith was very accommodating to ensure the changes were made per our request. Our transition from sales to construction was seamless thanks to her hands on oversight. Our project manager, Larry, was top-notch. He continually provided us weekly update reports with pictures. Being 3 hours away from the construction site, Larry provided us a great peace of mind the building of the house was on track. During the final walk through, Larry was thorough and provided us awesome feedback and information as new home owners to the community.
