Shout out to Perry! Perry is the best. He gave me and my husband so much information about the home buying process while we was in contract he answered all our questions he gave us hope even when me and my husband didn’t have none. He is also so funny and trustworthy. One thing we admired about him is he didn’t just treat us like a sell or just a buyer. We are so thankful for Perry and all the hard work he been putting in for the last 9 months to help us become home owners and I can’t wait to work with him again. 🫶🏾 And also shout out to Ms.Kathy she was our loan officer she also gave us so much information on budgeting and making sure our credit was good. When I came to Adams Landing in Elizabeth City, NC, I did not expect that I would be purchasing a home. I honestly came out of curiosity. From the beginning, I was expecting the worst; I wasn't even sure if I'd be qualified. Not to mention that I came to Elizabeth City from Smithfield, VA. So, I thought that finding the place was going to be a challenge. On the way there, my GPS started to malfunction. So, I parked in the RC Movie Theater (I was closer to the location than I thought) parking lot and contacted the team. Drew came in his black pick-up truck and helped guide me the rest of the way there. Thanks again Drew! When I got there, I met with my sales officer, Perry Dearing. This man is incredibly down-to-earth and knows his stuff. He helped make an intimidating process for a first-time home buyer, like me, simple and easy. Any additional questions I had, he was quick to answer, and didn't leave me stranded in the dark. The following week, I met with my loan officer, Christina Apostolakiu. And like Perry, my experience with her was exactly the same. Currently living in Virginia, I was worried about how this process would go, but it went way smoother than I thought. We were able to setup a virtual meeting, which worked exceptionally well with my work schedule. Christina broke down the process with great precision. Another plus was the navigation of the NVR Mortgage website; it is user-friendly and easy to understand. I truly appreciated that. After my appraisal, come to find out, I was swiftly approved. A few days later, I was already going through my walk-through orientation with my project manager, Morgan Hall. And once again, back-to-back, she gave me the same stellar treatment as Perry and Christina did. Morgan gave a thorough briefing on everything I needed to know before and after my closing; along with an organized list of contacts for when I get settled in. While doing the walk-through, I brought a DIY home inspector list, and anything we found that looked out of place, she made sure that it was taken care of. She even let me borrow her ladder and receptacle tester (the ladder I brought was too short, so I needed a little extra boost to get into the attic). Overall, everything is an A++. I have nothing negative to say. I did the tour just a few weeks ago, on April 19th. And my closing date was already given for May 21st. Thanks Perry, Christina, Drew, and Morgan for making this process as smooth as possible. I truly appreciate your wholesome hospitality!

After Perry showed us the townhome and what was offered we decided to come back again and made appointment with questions. I will say that buying a new house is something that you have to experience. I have always heard horror stories about the things that could go wrong, BUT this is not the case. I had the pleasure of working with Edward Halloran, who helped me with the process of getting everything ready for the purchase, step by step instructions and picking all the finishes for the house! He is very knowable of the whole process and made my purchase transaction a quick and easy process. Also, their loan officer Mitchell Piazza is the man! he took the time to explain every detail of each document being signed. No questions where left unanswered that's for sure.
