Elkton, Maryland, is situated at the northern end of scenic Chesapeake Bay and serves as the county seat of Cecil County. The town enjoys an ideal location midway between New York City and Washington, DC. Our new homes in Eklton, Maryland provide the charming atmosphere of a small town with close drive to the restaurants and shopping available in nearby Baltimore and Philadelphia. The town played a significant role in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, and numerous colonial buildings remain side by side with modern office buildings and retail shops. Today, Elkton offers a multitude of attractions, including a center for the arts, golf courses, an environmental center and a winery.
Our Elkton home communities are near a world of local activities. The Clubs at Patriots Glen is a public 18-hole golf course with a par of 72, a convenient driving range and an on-site tavern, and Brantwood Golf Course features a large clubhouse and pro shop. Horseback riders can visit Fair Hill Stables and participate in trail rides, hayrides, and bonfires. The Locust Point Marina offers park-like grounds and facilities including a boat ramp, a floating dock and a picnic area with gas barbecue grills. Our new constructions in Elkton are also close to the scenic Fair Hill nature center, which features a stocked trout stream, a covered bridge, trails and an environmental education center. Residents and visitors can enjoy specialty shopping, and the Elkton Arts Center features exhibitions, poetry readings, lectures, workshops and special events.
