My experience with the team at Ryan Homes, particularly the selling agent Noel Bird, has been incredibly positive. As someone interested in an over 55 age community, I had numerous questions about the specifics of the community and my eligibility for a new build. Noel was exceptionally patient and thorough, addressing all my inquiries—even the ones I repeated more than once. Navigating the process of purchasing a new home can be intimidating, especially when you aren't familiar with all the nuances. However, Noel's ability to put my mind at ease made a significant difference. During our visit to the Grand Cayman model, I was thoroughly impressed by its beauty and suitability for my long-term needs, especially considering my mother's mobility issues. Knowing that we could move into a space that prioritizes comfort and accessibility lifts a tremendous weight off my shoulders as we embark on this new chapter. Once I decided to move forward, Noel meticulously explained every document, ensuring I understood each step of the process. He also introduced me to their lender, Christina, whom I met just days after my initial meeting with Noel. Christina was equally fantastic, providing a detailed explanation of my mortgage options. She allowed me the time to process the information at my own pace, ensuring I felt comfortable with the choices available to me. The seamless coordination between Noel and Christina has transformed what could have been an overwhelming journey into a manageable and even enjoyable experience. They maintain constant contact and are readily available to address . We closed two days ago and are all moved in. Kevin Ghoulson, our builder in charge of the entire project has been phenomenal. He was always available by text, email and phone. And kept us updated weekly via photocircle with updates. Great crew. We're so happy to finally be settled in exactly on due date as scheduled.

My home is under construction now, and we can’t wait to move in. We were looking for a 55+ community that offered basic amenities, as we just don’t use clubhouses or pools that drive up those HOA fees. We found what we are looking for in Baxter Station. We are looking forward to single floor living with a beautiful large yard for our dogs and some elbow room! He gave me and my husband so much information about the home buying process while we was in contract he answered all our questions he gave us hope even when me and my husband didn’t have none. When I came to Adams Landing in Elizabeth City, NC, I did not expect that I would be purchasing a home. I honestly came out of curiosity. From the beginning, I was expecting the worst; I wasn't even sure if I'd be qualified. Not to mention that I came to Elizabeth City from Smithfield, VA. So, I thought that finding the place was going to be a challenge. On the way there, my GPS started to malfunction. So, I parked in the RC Movie Theater (I was closer to the location than I thought) parking lot and contacted the team. Drew came in his black pick-up truck and helped guide me the rest of the way there. Thanks again Drew! When I got there, I met with my sales officer, Perry Dearing. This man is incredibly down-to-earth and knows his stuff. He helped make an intimidating process for a first-time home buyer, like me, simple and easy. Any additional questions I had, he was quick to answer, and didn't leave me stranded in the dark. The following week, I met with my loan officer, Christina Apostolakiu. And like Perry, my experience with her was exactly the same. Currently living in Virginia, I was worried about how this process would go, but it went way smoother than I thought. We were able to setup a virtual meeting, which worked exceptionally well with my work schedule. Christina broke down the process with great precision. Another plus was the navigation of the NVR Mortgage website; it is user-friendly and easy to understand. I truly appreciated that. After my appraisal, come to find out, I was swiftly approved. A few days later, I was already going through my walk-through orientation with my project manager, Morgan Hall. And once again, back-to-back, she gave me the same stellar treatment as Perry and Christina did. Morgan gave a thorough briefing on everything I needed to know before and after my closing; along with an organized list of contacts for when I get settled in. While doing the walk-through, I brought a DIY home inspector list, and anything we found that looked out of place, she made sure that it was taken care of. She even let me borrow her ladder and receptacle tester (the ladder I brought was too short, so I needed a little extra boost to get into the attic). Overall, everything is an A++. I have nothing negative to say. I did the tour just a few weeks ago, on April 19th. And my closing date was already given for May 21st. Thanks Perry, Christina, Drew, and Morgan for making this process as smooth as possible. I truly appreciate your wholesome hospitality!
