Castlewood Fields Ranch Homes

We recently purchased a home in Castlewood in Nottingham Twp. We loved all the models there as it gave us some idea of how our furniture will fit into our new home. Rose Vuono was so patient and helpful, guiding us through the process of buying our new home, picking the upgrades, changing the upgrades multiple times, returning our numerous phone messages, and just being very upbeat and happy for us. She is the very best at her job! This is our third Ryan home and by far the best experience we’ve had with any home builder. Can’t wait to move into our new home!

We loved the location and the selection of home plans and even the intreior selections were a fit. Kasey, whom we worked with from day 1 was awesome. We wanted a specific lot and when phase 2 opened up, Kasey reached out to make us aware and showed us what was available. The overall process was reasonable and the experience was positive. Both Kasey and Alison exceeded our expectations and they both deserve recognition. We still have a ways to go, but I'm confident in the process. If you can work with Kasey, do it.

Update:,11/22/23 I wanted to update my review again because I cannot say enough about how fortunate my husband and I have been to have Brad Anderson, Production Manager from Ryan with us from before the time we moved in this year until now. He is the voice of reason and professionalism at Ryan. While we have had some minor disagreements with him he is very fast at returning our calls and text and always attempts to resolve our complaints timely and to our satisfaction. He always treats us with respect. Thanks Brad! Update 5/26/23 my husband and I would like to give a shout out again to both Brad Anderson, Jim Diaz and Rose Halley. Also, at my last review, I forgot to mention Kyle Songer from NVR. He was a very professional young man and patient with us during the whole process. It has been almost 6 months since we moved in to our gorgeous ranch home and they continue to address any concerns we have with respect and professionalism and do so timely. That is important to us. There are lots left to build on so don’t hesitate to consider this location. You won’t regret it!!! 4/2023: I can’t think of better people to work with than Rose Halley and Jim Diaz and especially Brad Anderson from Ryan. Brad’s the best. While we had some challenges during the building process and after we moved in, our concerns were always addressed to our satisfaction. It was a pleasure working with them! You won’t be disappointed if you choose this community.

This is a follow up to a previous review. I want to take the time to say how great this whole experience has been thanks to the wonderful people we worked with at Ryan Homes. Yes, the house turned out great and was done in a very timely manner thanks to some really good weather. But any move can be a stressful experience, but working with Rose in sales, Andrew our project manager, and Josh at NVR made this a wonderful experience. Building a good product is one thing, but having wonderful people to interface with is hard to find in todays business word. They carefully walked us through the whole process from picking our home and selecting our options, the financing and closing, and the construction. They made sure we were comfortable with the process, all our questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner, and they were always very much on top of things. They weren't there to just sell us a house, they were there to help us and make this a pleasant experience. Ryan Homes is lucky to have them as the face of their corporation. Thanks again. For over a year, my wife and I looked at several homes for resale in the Pittsburgh area. We also looked at several home builders. In our opinion, Ryan homes had the best floor plan, options, upgrades and pricing for our needs. We had a list of several features that we wanted in our new home and Ryan homes met them. There were several people that helped us during the purchasing phase, so thanks to everyone at Ryan homes. A big shout out to Kasey at Castlewood Fields. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered the many, many, many questions that we had. Lizzy and Penny can't wait to see their new back yard.
